MultiPanel: Multi Launcher App Reviews

Good App, but...

I been use free trial with this app from web, and I can't really tell difference between "Lifetime Version" and "Standard Version", then I found out one day I can purchase it on App Store, so I bought it, it was good, or it might always been that way, when I tryed open app with MultiPanel, it always open the app on the left or top if it is on the left or right side, a lot bugs... I am looking forward to see an update soon Thanks. One suggestions, pleease add Active Dock to App Store if you can.

Potential but terrible bugs

I really wanted to use this as a replacement for DragThing as a doc that would show running applications only. It does that, but unfortunately when you click on apps to switch between them it either doesn't respond or takes you to the wrong app. Terrible and basically does not work. Do not purchase until (or if) they fix the bugs. This was on version 1.17 on MacOS Catalina.

Workflow is difficult.

Adding items seems to be very difficult. I added a folder and had to click through about 4 different okay buttons. Once the folder was added there is no title to the folder! So I can't tell which folder I am trying to select. The name will eventually show as a tooltip but I may as well use the finder favorites as that would be less time then using this. I would only use it as a holding place for applications.

Good Idea, a bit buggy currently - New Release?

Love the idea, and it works decent. Couple of issues that I'm sure they will address and change since it's newly released. 1) no keyboard shortcut ability to hide/show 2) bit buggy, every time I move the dock (always gets in the way since you're not used to it) it opens up a folder 3) cant drag files into the folders, it simply only allows me to open folders 4) only allows basic fixed placements (left right up down), should be left up, left down, etc. More options 5) hard to add folders in it, doesn't feel good 6) impossible to rearrange folders/apps within it. you have to delete the folder and redrop the new folder in it Good idea, lots to exapand on it though.
